How do I lose weight ?

This is the question on everyone's mind. Unfortunately, there is No 'one' answer that works for everyone. No 'skinny pill'. No 'magic wand'. No 'one' diet. No 'one' exercise plan. Don't look so discouraged. There is hope, light at the end of the tunnel, rest for the weary traveler (not really). No rest for the willing. But there is hope and light! That's right, no matter which plan you choose it takes work. You must eat fewer calories and exercise in order to burn excess calories in order to lose weight. That is a fact (in most case). But with the help of our buddies and our Helper, the Holy Spirit of God, there is definitely reason to keep going. Never give up for you will conquer your weight problem! You will be VICTORIOUS!

How Much Water Should I (really) Drink?

Most people need to drink a minimum of 8-8oz. glasses of water everyday for what your average weight should be and an extra 8 oz. for every 20 lbs. of extra weight.

i.e.: 5'2 140 lbs. person is approx. 20 lbs. over their ideal weight (non-bodybuilders) so this person should be consuming 9-8oz. glasses of water per day. Remember, you can never drink too much water!

How Many Calories is One Pound of Fat?

3500 calories is equal to one pound of fat. So  in order to lose 2 pounds of fat per week, you would need to eradicate 7000 calories a week from your body.

How Many Calories Should I be Eating?

Good question! In order to maintain your weight you should be eating as many calories as you are burning. But if you want to lose the weight then you should burn more calories then you consume. The actual amount of calories (in numbers) needed vary by each individual person and their specific needs. Fit4Jesus can formulate a personal weight loss plan just for you based on your individual needs. See what Fit4Jesus can DO4U.

What is The Best Natural Source for Energy ?

The best natural source for energy, believe it or not, is exercise! The more you exercise and the more muscle you gain, the higher your energy level increases. Increasing muscle mass speeds up your metabolism and aerobic exercise increases your endurance along with a lot of other health benefits.

How Do I Cut Out the Calories Without Starving Myself?

With a combination of eating less calories and burning more calories, you CAN lose the weight and keep it off without starving. Let Fit4Jesus help you determine how many calories  you should be eating and burning every week to help you reach your weight loss goals.

Are the Free Weights really free...?

No, silly! 'Free Weights' is a term used to describe weights that are not attached to a machine (such as Nautilus). Rather, they are great stand alone fitness gear and include such items as (but not limited to), dumbbells, barbells and plate weights for ISO machines (like Hammer Strength) and Olympic bars.
